PART 7

"Yup..Dontella is Monday,Versace tuesday,Dolca and Gabbana is Wednesday, Donna Karan is Thursday and wrapping up fashion week is Tommy Hilfiger" Catie said checking her palm pilot,"I have tickets for all of us to go to all the shows"

"Awesome" Stevanne said

"I doubt if i can go" I said

"Why?!" Cate said

"I don't have time to shower..let alone go to the best parties in town" I said

"Well if you change your mind..i'll hold on to your ticket for the time being" Catie said

                                   LATER THAT NIGHT

I was at home now, attempting to wrestle Olivia into her pj's when Blake came in

"OLIVIA MACKENZIE." I yelled as she got away from me for the thousandth time,"IT'S BEDTIME!"

"Having trouble?" Blake said chuckling

"Shut up and get your daughter into her PJs" I said annoyed

"What's your problem?" He asked catching Olivia as she ran through the kitchen

"I want to go to Fashion week with my friends " I said

"What the Hell is fashion week?" He stopped struggling to get Olivia into her shirt and looked at me

"It's when all the important designers show the new fall line for clothes and it's a huge deal" I said

"So go" He said

"I can go?, you'll be ok watching the kids all day?" I said walking back into Olivia's room

"You're coming home at night right? I think i can manage beside Michelle is down the street and Mrs.Gregson is around the corner..don't worry go.. have fun.don't buy clothes that cost more than the house ok?" He said before he sat down and read Olivia a book.

I was surprised ..this was from the same guy who although we have fraternal twins..couldn't tell one from the other considering one has red hair..

But who am i to argue with my husband?..who just said i could buy clothes and a lot of clothes which i fully intended to do. I called Catie and told her I'd meet her there

Now what was i going to wear?. Hmm....

                                        BLAKE P.O.V

Usually, i love taking care of kids..especially my own...but when Nikki left to go to the fashion show, all hell broke loose.

"NO NO I WON'T NO NO NO!" Lennon screamed

She was screaming because i told her to eat her brussell sprouts

"Come Len, please?" I asked again

"NO NO NOOOOOOOOOO!" It sounded like i was murdering her

"LENNON! EAT YOUR BRUSSELL SPROUTS!" I tried being tough with her

Lennon  stop screaming long enough to shoot me a have-you-lost-your-damn-mind look? and started screaming again

"That's it!" I stood up, picked her up and carried her into her room "Now you stay there!"  I slammed the door behind me

Outside of her room, I realize i'd done exactly want Lennon wanted, she pissed me off enough so i'd take her to her room and she wouldn't have to eat the brussell sprouts..

"DADDY" i heard Olivia call

"Coming baby.." I said then walked back into the kitchen where Olivia, who'd eaten her brussells sprouts was now eating Cheerios

"Daddy..i can't breath through my nose" She said sitting at the kitchen table

"Do you feel sick?" I said kneeling down

"No but the cheerio in my nose is blocking things up" She said clawing at her nose

"What a second..you have a cheerio up your nose?" I said taking her hands off her nose

"Yup" She said smiling

"Oh god.. " I said running to the drawing..grabbing the tiny flashlight nikki keeps just in case and looked up Olivia's nose..yup and it was shoved up there pretty good..

"Ok..we're gonna go vist the doctor" I said

"NO SHOTS" Olivia started crying

"Oh no shots honey..he's just gonna get that cheerio right out and afterwards..we're gonna get ice cream!" I tried to make it as  cheerful as possible..

"Are you sure no shots?" She said squinting her eyes

"Positive, Now go get your jacket" I said then ran to get Lennon

"LENNON" i yelled through the door,"WE GOTTA TAKE YOUR SISTER TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM..GET OUT HERE  NOW"

Lennon must have sensed i was freaking out because she came right out.. I got the twins into their car seats..Eva screamed while Lily slept but we made it to the doctor's' office in one piece

When we got the doctor's office, I put the twins in their stroller,picked up Olivia and ran with Lennon behind me

"I need to speak to a doctor immediately!" I said panting

"Whoa! is someone bleeding?" The nurse said jumping up

"No, my daughter has an obstruction in her nose" I said catching my breath

"What?" The Nurse asked

"I got a cheerio up my nose!" Olivia said proudly

"is my daughter going to need rhino-plasty?" I asked nervously

"for a cheerio?" The nurse looked me like i was an idiot,"Come with me" She took Olivia by the hand and brought her into an exam room

Waiting nearly killed me..i got Lennon some juice and paced up and down the hallway it almost felt like the night Olivia was born....

                                          FLASHBACK

                                   TWO YEARS EARLIER

Althought we weren't even sure we could have anymore kids after the accident, we only tried once and BINGO. Nikki was pregnant, this time thought, I wouldn't let her out of my sight, every so often when she would moan or make a weird sound, i would panic and want to run to the emergency,it got to the point Nikki refused to be any room with me because i was driving her nuts or so she bitched

It was early October and the baby wasn't due for another four weeks, I was in the process of cleaning out the spare room and dragging Lennon's old crib up from the cellar, We'd bought Lennon a big girl bed soon after we found out we were pregnant, I'd shoved the crib in the basement and forgot about it until Nikki threw a fit and said it needed to be done before the baby graduates from High school.

John and I were  in the process of lugging the crib up the stairs when Nikki called from  the laundry room where she was washing Lennon's old baby clothes

"BLAKE" She yelled

"WHAT?" i yelled back

"IT'S TIME!" she yelled

"TIME FOR WHAT? LUNCH? THANK GOD..I'M STARVING!" I yelled over the railing

"NO..TIME FOR THE BABY" She yelled

"Oh, she's having the baby" I said to John before realizing what she'd said,"Oh my god she's having the baby" I dropped the crib and ran down the stairs

"OW! YOU JUST DROPPED THE CRIB ON MY FOOT,MAN WHAT THE HELL?!" John yelped 

"Sorry!" I yelled

"I HATE TO SEE WHAT YOU'D DO IF SHE HAD SIX WEEKS TO LIVE!"He yelled limping down the stairs

"Nikki,Baby?" I said at the bottom of the stairs

"Ok forget the cutesy nicknames, we need to get to a hospital" She gripping the edge of the washing machine

I half guided, half shoved her up the stairs and we got to the car before i remembered something or rather someone..

I ran back and found John standing over the kitchen sink putting his foot in the sink that was filled with ice

"John!" I said startling him

"Oh you again, i thought you left to have a baby?" he saracastically

"Wanna me to break the other one?" I threatned,"Watch Lennon..will ya?" I said

"Of course, I was going to bring her to my house to play with Keith" He said wincing in pain

"Great..thanks bye!" I ran out the door

"What the hell was that about?" Nikki demanded

"Lennon" I explained

"Ah" Nikki nodded

"Almost there!" I said

"WRONG WAY!" Nikki yelled

"Yikes right. sorry!" I turned around and We screeched up to the entrance of the hospital

Harpo,Chico and Groucho Marx came out and whisked Nikki up to Maternity

After i filled out the paperwork, i ran up to the maternity ward and tried to find Nikki

"HEY!" i said stopping a nurse,"I'm trying to find my wife..Nicole Capone"

"Oh she's already pushing..I'm afraid you can't go in there" The nurse said apologizing

"What?" I couldn't believe it

"I'm sorry" She said then turned around and walked back into a delivery room

I paced back and forth..i almost wore out the tile on the floor..i hadn't been this nervous since Lennon was born

"Mr. Reef?" A nurse called

"Yes" I said practically running over to the nurse

"I have someone for you to meet" The nurse said holding a baby wrapped in a purple blanket

"Is this?" I was stunned

"Yes this is your daughter" The Nurse said putting her in my arms

She was so beautiful,with her head full of dark hair and her long legs..I instantly fell in love..

"How is my wife?" I asked

"She's wonderful, but she's asleep right now" The nurse said smiling

"Has she picked a name yet?" I asked

"Yes .I believe Carrie Anne?" The nurse

"Have you written out the birth certificate yet?" I said looking at my daughter

"No why?" The nurse looked confuse

"I want to surprise my wife..Can you change it so her name will be Olivia Mackenzie?" I said

"Alright" The Nurse said then walked away 

 

                                                            PRESENT DAY

"Mr.Reef?" A Nurse said snapping me out of my daydream

"Yes.My daughter?" I asked nervously

"She's Ok..the Doctor removed the Cheerio,she'll have a swelling of the nose for a few days but she should be fine. The Doctor advises that she shouldn't put more foreign objects up her nose" The nurse said walking away

"Wait..where's my kid?" I asked noticing Olivia wasn't with her

"Well, she passed out once she saw the needle we had to use to sedate her" The nurse

"You had to sedate my kid?" I couldn't believe this

"Well she wouldn't stop screaming and we need her to close her mouth and we gave her a little shot and once she saw the needle she was out" The Nurse laughing a little

"When can I take her home?" I asked slightly more than above pissed

"In a few hours" The nurse went back to the nurse's station

I picked Lennon, who'd fallen asleep in the chairs and pushed the twins in the carriage into the room where Olivia was and just watched her sleep.

"Daddy" A little voice said waking me up

"Hi baby" I said rubbing my eyes

"You lied to me" She said crossly

"I know baby and I'm sorry:" I pouted,"I'll make you a deal though"

"What kinda deal?" She asked

"I promise no more shots if you promise not to stick any more cheerios up your nose" I said

"Deal" She said,"Daddy..i wanna go home"

"Ok let's get you out of here" I kissed her on the head and went out to the nurses station.

 

                          NIKKI P.O.V

I had a great time at the fashion show and found some amazing buys, a gucci purse and a versace suede jacket, I hadn't had that much fun in a long time...

I knew something was wrong the moment i walked through the door because as soon as my key hit the hole, i heard screamings lots of screaming

"NO NO NO NO!!" I heard lennon shouting and the twins crying

"DADDDY!!!" Olivia screamed

"WHEN IS MOMMY COMING HOME!" I heard my husband yell

"I'M RIGHT HERE..WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" I shouted

"I CAN'T DO THIS I NEED HELP" HE SHOUTED BACK AT ME

I rolled my eyes, got the twins into the playpen.. picked up Olivia and was chasing Lennon around the kitchen

"LENNON MADELYN" I yelled

"NO BATH NO BATH BATH NO NO BATH!" Kid has got a set of lungs on her that would make a train stop short

"GET INTO THE TUB NOW!" I usually hate yelling at my kids but when it does happen..it's like hell on earth

"NO!" She let out one final scream

"CAN YOU HELP ME WITH YOUR DAUGHTER!" I yelled to Blake

"SHE WON'T LISTEN TO ME!" He yelled back,"THAT'S IT!"

He put Lennon under his arm and went into the bathroom,slammed the door and somehow got her to take a bath

"Hi Mommy" Olivia said

"Hi Honey" I said not really looking at her

"My nose hurts" She said

"Why?"  I said finally looking and seeing her usually button nose was the size of my fist," What happened to your nose?"

"Doctor had to open it up!" She said

"What?" I said stopping short

"Yup..down now please!"I put her down

I practically ran to the bathroom and pounded on the door

"What happened to Olivia's nose?" I demanded

"Your DAUGHTER shoved a cheerio up her nose and the doctor's had to remove it"  He said toweling off Lennon

"How did she get a cheerio up her nose? Weren't you watch her?!" I couldn't believe it

"Excuse me..did you go out and have fun.. I've been stuck in hell all day and that's all you say is why wasn't i watching her?" He was getting angry

"What is your problem?" I asked

"MY PROBLEM.. i wanted sons..i got daughters.. one won't stop screaming,one keeps shoving objects up her nose, I can't tell which twin is which!" He said chasing after Lennon, who'd, during our fight, had managed to run through the house naked shrieking at the top of her lungs,"THAT'S IT!" he said finally catching her and then he shoved her toward my arms

"What's it?" I asked getting annoyed because my wet child was runing a very expensive jacket

"I'm done for the day ..Mr.Mom is going out and getting drunk" He said grabbing his keys then slamming the door

I managed to wrestle Lennon into bed..who ever said the terrible twos ended at two obviously never dealt with my kids.. I put an ice pack on Olivia's nose and promised her ice cream if she kept it on for more than 5 seconds, The twins were easier, a diaper change and bottle and they were out like lights.

I waited for Blake to come home ..

He finally did around 2 am..I heard him trip over the couch and swear

"Honest to god..if you wake up the girls..your gonna be spending the night in Central Park" I said when he came into our room  

"Don't start!" He said

"Don't start..you storm out of here..i don't even get so much as a phone call..and you tell me not to start that's rich.."  I was getting so angry

"Look my nagging wife..i'm sorry i didn't call but i needed to blow off steam" He said climbing into bed

"Go sleep on the couch!" I said

"What?" He asked with his face in pillow

"GO!" i ordered

"Ugh..fine " He took a pillow and stomped off

                                          A FEW DAYS LATER

Blake and I hadn't said too much to one another after that night because we are two stubborn people who refused to apologize to one another

I went to dinner with the girls, i had left the girls (my little ones) with a babysitter because I figured we both could use a night out apart and away from our children...

"Hi!!" I said dashing into the restaurant

"HEY!" They all yelled together

"What did i miss?" I asked

"Well, Catie was talking about how she just got the Chanel account and has to fly to Italy tomorrow, Gina was just telling us about Gracie's dance recital. Stevanne here was freaking over the fact she spilled  Ice coffee on her shirt and Annie was wondering When you'd get here" Dina said opening her menu

"Groovy" I said

"So what's going on with you? still fighting with your hubby..?" Catie said

"Yes" I said

"It's been days... shouldn't you be over this by now?" Gina asked

"No besides it's just not about the kids ..it's other stuff too" I said  

"Like what?" Rachel asked

"It's been awhile since we..ya know" I was so embrassed

"Ah" Annie nodded

"Since they did what?" Michelle asked

"Since they rocked each other's world" Stevanne explained

"STEVANNE" i was blushing like mad

"It's true!" Stevanne insisted

"Oh wow" Michelle said

"Can you.... i mean are you allowed to  after your C-section?" Gina asked

"The doctor said six weeks but i feel good now ..well not good now that we're ready to kill each other .. and with four kids under the age of 5 we're never alone beside I don't want get pregnant again..ugh.. it's so frustrating " I said biting into a breadstick

"I got it.. We'll take the girls for the weekend and you and Blake can go on vacation" Annie offered

"You're gonna take my girls for the weekend?' I was glad Annie  offered but She can't handle one kid..let alone four

"Yeah why not?" Annie said

"Because the one time you babysat for me, Lennon got her head stuck in a railing and Olivia got stuck in the toy box" I said

"Well that was then this is now.. I can do it" Annie said

"We'll help her" Gina said

"Alright.. but the moment it gets hairy..i'm coming back" I said ..

I went home and told Blake about our min-vacation

"Your going to let Annie babysit our children?" He was sitting on the couch holding Eva when i told him this

"Yeah why not?" I said pacing back and forth with Lily

"Hello?!! with two infants and two toddlers..it's too much for us..let alone a hyperactive 30 year old woman who's boy crazy!" He said reaching for a pacifier  

"True but she's not the only one who'll be watching the girls ..Gina and Stevanne are going to stay with them as well"

"Alright.. I'll go..where do you want to go?" He asked

"How about the Cape?" I said switching Lily from one hip to the other

"Alright.. Did you hear that, Eva.. Mommy wants a vacation so bad she's  willing to put your sisters at risk.. yess!" He said to her

I picked one of Lennon's blocks and threw it at his head 

                                      A FEW DAYS LATER

We were trying to packand get everything organized before The girls (the big ones) come over

"DID YOU PACK MY SUNSCREEN?" Blake yelled from the kitchen

"YEAH DID YOU FIND MY SUNGLASSES" I called from Lennon's room

"YEAH..IN THE COOKIE JAR!" He yelled back

ding dong!"

"DOORBELL!" I yelled

"I'M NOT DEAF..I GOT IT " he called

"Hi!!" I heard Gina and Stevanne's voices

"Hey girls" Blake said kissing each of them,"Where's Annie?"

"Right here!" Annie said coming up behind them

"Awesome" Blake said then headed back into the kitchen

"Where's Nikki?" Annie asked

"Right here" I said bring Lennon and Eva into the kitchen

"Hi girls!" Stevanne said

"Hiya" Lennon said sticking her fingers in her mouth

"Where are Olivia and Lily?" Annie asked pulling Lennon into her lap

"Asleep..Ok so a few things you need to know.. Olivia is allergic to strawberries and i mean deathly allergic..i don't even keep strawberry poptarts in the house, Lennon is going through her stubborn streak and will scream..ignore the screams and make her do it anyway" I went through the list

"Don't forget Eva's colicky and Lily has a tendency to spit up We're talking Linda Blair spit up " Blake finished for me

"Are you rasing children or demons" Stevanne said taking Eva from my arms

"Haha" I said

"Nik Honey..come on we gotta go" Blake said kissing the little ones then bringing the suitcases to the car..

"I know i'll be right there" I went around and kissed everyone goodbye and ran out the door before i started crying

 

                                           ANNIE P.O.V

I thought Nikki would never leave!! Don't get me wrong, i love her dearly but she must have run back and forth from the car to the house kissing the kids a thousand times before Blake picked up over his shoulder like tarzan and took her to the car..

"Alright so what should we do now?" Gina asked

"I don't know.." I shrugged

"I was talking to Lennon" She said rolling her eyes then kneeling down" Lennon what do you wanna do?"

"I wanna play hide and seek!" Lennon said jumping up and down

"Ok but let's go get your sisters up first ok?!" Gina said

"Yeah Ok" Lennon went into the living room and put on the TV

"Wow..stubborn kid" Stevanne remarked

"Well you do know who her mother is right? Queen of stubborn?" I said

"Hey let's not talk about her while she's not here, besides she's problably got this place rigged with camera's to catch us screwing off"Gina said

                                             NARRATOR P.O.V

 Just then Eva started crying

"I'll go..which twin is that again?" Stevanne said

"It's Eva..I'll go" Gina said

Stevanne went to go find Lennon and Annie went to check on Olivia.

Soon all the girls were up and outside playing hide and seek

"YOUR IT!" Stevanne yelled

"NO! YOUR IT" Lennon yelled

"YOUR BOTH WRONG!" Gina yelled "I'M IT!"

"HEY HEY WHAT'S ALL THE SHOUTING?" a voice said

"Who's that?" Annie said without turning around

"DADDY!" Lennon shouted then running toward John

"It's john" Stevanne said

"Oh" Annie said

"Hey munchkin..what's going on?" He said picking her up

"Playing hide and go seek and Auntie Gina's it" Lennon said playing with the gold necklace around John's neck

"Oh that's good, Where's mommy?" John asked

"She went on a mini vacation with Blake " Annie explained

"And she left you three in charge of four small children?, she must be sleep deprieved" John

"John, what exactly is it that you want?" Gina said wanting to explode

"I came to see if my favorite girl wants to go to Coney island!" John said

"YEAH YEAH!" Lennon yelled

"I don't think that's a good idea, it's too late and beside i think Nik wanted the girls home this weekend" Annie said

"You suck" Lennon said

"LENNON!" all four shouted at the same time

"I can't believe she just said that" Stevanne said trying not laugh

Part 6

By this time, I was sitting on the floor and hoping that the baby would stay in..

"This contractions are getting closer and closer..we need to get her to a hospital NOW!" Catie said

They helped me up and then we hailed a cab

"Where to?" The Cabbie asked

"St.Vincent's and step on it!" I said

The guy floored it and we screeched in front of the hospital

"Someone has to call my husband!" I said as an intern wheeled me up to Maternity

"We'll call him,honey, don't worry" Gina said

"You call him" Stevanne said

"What? so he can bitch at me? Yeah right ..you call him" Annie said

"I'll do it..you big chickens"Catie said

                                           BLAKE'S P.O.V

I was at home giving the girls popsicles when the phone rang

"Girls, stay in the yard and don't move until i come back ok?" I said then ran in to grab the cordless

"Hello?" I said watching the girls through the glass window

"Blake?" a voice

"Heyy Cat..what's up?" I said

"I'm with Nikki.." her voice trailed

"What's wrong?" I become instantly worried.. i knew i shouldn't have let her go..

"She's in Labor" Catie said

"Oh my god" I said

"Yeah.. come now.. St Vincent's" Catie said hanging up

"GIRLS!" I yelled,"COME IN NOW PLEASE!"

I got the girls in their jackets and dropped them off at Michelle's..explained what was going on and then took off for the hospital

"My wife's  having a baby!" I panted to someone at the front desk

"Maternity..5th floor" the woman said without looking up

I took off toward the elevators and pushed the button but it wasn't coming fast enough.. i noticed a sign for stairs so i ran up five flights

When I got up to the fifth floor, I saw Gina,Stevanne,Catie and Annie sitting in the waiting room,looking nervous and scared

"YOU GUYS!" I called

"Oh thank god!" Annie said

"What took you so long?" Stevanne asked

"She's ok.." Gina said

"Where are the girls?" Catie wondered  

"I dropped them off at Michelle's ..where is she?" I asked

They all pointed to a door

"Hi Sweetie" I said walking into her room

"Hi!!Honeyy!!" She looked out of her mind

"What did you give her?" i asked the nurse who was beside Nikki

"An epidural..why?" The Nurse asked

"Because the last time my wife was in labor..she didn't look that peaceful.." I said concerned

"Oh hey..Blake..look at the pretty lamp" She said staring at the light above her head

"Oh god.. How long before she's less drugged up" I asked

"A few hours" The Nurse said leaving

I left Nikki staring at the light and walked out to where the girls are

"You guys don't have to stay if you don't want to" I said

"We want to stay" Stevanne said making the final decision for everyone

"It's gonna be awhile" I told them

"We'll wait" Catie said

"Ok well let's go see The Rainwoman" I said leading the girls into Nikki's room

"Why are you calling her that?" Gina asked

"Once you see her, you'll know why" I said

"LOOK! IT'S THE GIRLS!" Nikki shouted

"I see your point" Annie said

                                           NIKKI P.O.V

The epidural wore off a couple hours later and the moment it wore off.. the contractions started

"Ok everyone who isn't a doctor, nurse, father or the mother GET OUT!" The Nurse said kicking out the girls

"How out of it was I?" I asked Blake

"Nikki in the Sky with Diamonds" He said

"A least this time, i wasn't threatning to kill you.." I said laughing

"No..but you looked like you were ready to have sex with a lamp" Blake said laughing

"No!" I couldn't believe

"Yup" He said

"Uh excuse me folks..could we chat later?" The Doctor said

"Ok" Blake and I said at the same time

A few hours later, I was still pushing and alternating between crying and yelling

"OH MY GOD!" I yelld

"Nik..good job honey good job!" Blake was trying to be encouraging

"SHUT UP! YOU DID THIS TO ME!" I screamed

"Nicole ..one more giant push!" The doctor said

"ARRGGH!" I grunted as the baby came out

"HERE SHE IS!" the doctor yelled

"Oh my god!" I said

"Another daughter?" He couldn't believe it

"Are you disappointed" I said

Before He could answer, the doctor popped up

"Ok..now when i start counting.,start pushing  for baby number 2" She said

"Baby number 2?" I said

"What?" Blake couldn't believe

"It's twins..you didn't know that?" The doctor said

"No.." We said together

"Your doctor never mentioned you were having twins?" The Doctor said

(I should stop here and mention Dr.Warner who'd delivered Lennon and Olivia was on an island in the Caribbean and now we had Dr.Pepper)

"Doctor!" The Nurse said frantically

"What's up?" The Doctor said

"Baby's heartbeat is dropping dramatically" The Nurse said

"Uh Oh" The Doctor,looking at the fetal monitor"Ok Mrs.Reef, we need to do a crash C-section now"

Everything was happening so fast, I couldn't keep up

"What?" Blake couldn't believe it

"Your baby's heartbeat has dropped and we need to get the baby out before your wife and baby bleed out" The Doctor said pushing Blake out the door

"Where is my husband going" I demanded

"He can't be in the operating room" The Nurse said

"Why?" I demanded

"It's hospital regulation" She explained

"I don't care about stupid rules..bring him back here NOW!" I yelled

"Sorry" The nurse said

"Where's my other baby?" I asked

"She's being cleaned and being put in the Nursery" The Doctor said

"Please..Let my husband in.. I don't want to be alone" I begged

"Alright..Nurse ..could you get Mr.Reef?" The Doctor relented

The Nurse went out and brought back Blake..who was white as a ghost

"Are you alright?" He asked

"No..I'm scared" I said

"I am too" He stood behind me

"Mr.Reef..if you're going to be in the operating table..I suggest you not look over the curtain" The Doctor said

"Why?" He asked

"Because once i make the incension,you're going to faint and frankly, I can't save three people at once" The Doctor said

"Sing me a song?" I asked Blake

"Huh?" He said

"Please" I looked up and the tears started flowing

"What song?" He asked

"You know" I smiled

"You are gonna so owe" He said

"Not tonight..i have a headache" I said

                                A FEW HOURS LATER

After being stitched up, Blake and I tried to decide what to name our girls

"Ruth?" He suggested

"No" I said,"Keelia"

"No..Marie?" He suggested

"No!" I said

"Well you made a list of names..what was on your list?' He asked

"Jill..Jodi.Ashley..Lily..Daisy.Laura?" I said

"I like Lily." He said

"Me too..Ok so Baby number one will be Lily..?" I couldn't think of a middle name

"What about Katherine? for your aunt?" He said

"Lily Katherine..I like it ..it fits" I said

"Ok so baby number two?" He said

"I was thinking..maybe Eva Marie?"  I suggested

"After the Actress I thought you didn't want Marie as a name?" He looked at me like i was nuts

"No I didn't like it as a first name but it's works as a middle.why you got any better names?" I said

"No..Eva Marie it is" He smiled

We heard a soft knock on the door

"Hello?" Annie said,"Can we come in?"

"Sure" I said

All of them..including Dina came in and sat around my bed

"Where are Lennon and Olivia?" I asked

"I left them with Michelle"Blake said

"No here we are" Michelle said walking in with the girls

"You guys wanna see the baby?" I asked them,"Blake..go get the baby"

He left to go to the Nursery  

"How are you feeling?" Catie asked

"Sore" I said leaning back against the pillow

"You're going to be sore for quite awhile, my friend" Dina said

"I know" I said

Just then Blake walked in with nurse behind him

"Guys. I want to meet our daughters..." I said

"Daughters?..wait you didn't?" Gina said

"Didn't what?" Michelle said

"She had twins!" Annie said

"Oh my god!" Catie said

"Guys..This is Lily Katherine and Eva Marie" I said picking up Lily

"Isn't this exciting,Lennon..your a big sister again!" Gina excitedly

Lennon may have only been four but she knew what was going on and she wasn't thrilled

"They're beautiful Nik.but one question?" Annie said

"Sure" I said

"You, Blake, Lennon,Olivia and Lily all have black hair..how did Eva wind up with red hair?" Annie asked

"Just lucky i guess" I smiled

"How are you guys going to handle four kids..three whom are still babies?" Catie asked

"No Idea" Blake said picking up Eva

 "Are they identical or fraternal twins?" Michelle asked

"Fraternal" I said

"Which is good because i wouldn't never be able to tell them apart!" Blake said

We were having such a good time talking and laughing when the nurse came in and booted everyone but Blake out.

"How ARE we going to handle four kids?" He asked

"I have no idea" I honestly didn't know.

"We could always send Lennon to your mother" He suggested

"I wouldn't subject myself to that torture let alone my kid" I said

"Well we're gonna have to do something..Because once the twins are home..it's gonna get crazy!" He said climbing on the bed with me

"and you want another?" I said

"Hell no living with five women is gonna be torture enough  ..forget about another kid" He said

"figured as much" I said laughing

We brought home Eva and Lily home on the hottest day of the year, I couldn't believe everyone come to see our girls..

"Ooh look look!" Jen squealed as we walked in the living room

"Hey Blake..twins! you dog!" John said slapping Blake on his back who was trying to set Eva and her carrier down

"Excuse me?" I said setting down Lily in her  carrier  

"Nothing" John said walking away

Eva was asleep but Lily was wide-awake, Gina took her while i put Eva in the port-a-crib

I just stood overher and watched every move she made until i realized that me standing over her would wake her up so i turned on the baby monitor and went back down stairs

"We were just trying to figure what you guys are gonna do with Olivia and Lennon for the time being" Annie informed me

"Well, I don't want them to go away from home..so maybe John..you could take them" I said

"Sorry, construction on the house is starting Monday and we have to move out for a few days ..otherwise we'd be glad to take them any other time" He said

"What about YOUR mother?" I asked Blake

"She's still recovering from her last vist with Lennon" He said

"One broken  vase and the woman has a breakdown" I said

"Hey Leave my mother alone" He said defensively

"I was kidding" I shot back

"Yeah right!" He said

"Hey guys..no fighting happy occasion remember!" Rachel reminded us

"Right..forgive me?" He said

"I guess so" I said then laughed

"Well ..what if...We sent Lennon with Annie and Olivia can stay with Catie?" Blake suggested

"Listen to us..we're sending away our children because we can't handle all of them  might as well put them up for adoption!" I yelled and stamped out

"Oh wow.." John whistled

"She's overwhelmed" Annie explained

"I figured" John said

I was hiding in the laundry room,crying when Blake found me

"Are you alright?" He asked

"I don't know how we're gonna handle everything and that scares me.. " I sobbed into my hands

"We're going to be just fine.." He said sitting beside me

"But how? we don't know how to take care of four little kids..we could barely care for Olivia and Lennon" I said

"This is a switch.."He said changing the subject

"What is?" I replied

"Usually..you know what to do and i'm flying by the seat of my pants but now your falling to pieces and i'm in control..kinda nice." He said holding my hand

" It is kinda nice to be taken care off" I said

"Do you want to go back upstairs to the party?" He asked standing up

"Will you just stay and hold me for awhile?" I asked

"Sure" He sat back down and just hugged me

 

                                          LATER THAT NIGHT

After everyone had gone home, we'd agreed to let Lennon stay with Annie and Olivia was going to stay home with us, now we were attempting to sleep..no such luck...

Eva was screaming again..

"You go" Blake said sleepily

"I already went twice, it's your turn" I said

"Ugh..how long before they start sleeping through the night?" He asked as he got up

"With Lily, problably six months,Eva..my guess is  18 years  ." I said into my pillow  

 "I've stumbled upon something i never thought of before" Blake said standing in the doorway

"What's that?" I asked

"The ultimate new form of birth control" He said turning around

"What? screaming infant?" I said laughing

"Yup..after dealing with this..i've come to the conclusion..we're never having sex again" He said leaving the room

Through the baby monitor, I could hear everything

"Eva..sweetheart..baby..honey please stop screaming for Daddy" I heard him plead with her,"Lily can sleep through the night..why can't you? please..you know i  didn't have this problem with your sisters..why are you so difficult.. i'm negotatingwith a newborn.. if you stop crying..i'll buy you anything you want.."

Nothing..she kept screaming..

"Stop crying and i'll buy you a porsch on you're sixteenth birthday"

Nothing ..still screaming

"Oh god. you know, i get enough torture from your mother.. this is just icing on the cake" 

her screams were dying down,slowly but she was getting quieter

"Woogie" she said holding up her blanket

"No.. woogie man..gonna get me" For a two year old, she's very smart and can speak better than most adults

"Honey..there is no woogy man" I said kneeling on the floor

"Yess..lenny said gonna get me when new babies come cuz mommy too busy to save me"  She said griping her stuffed cat

" That's not true..Lennon is just very angry and wanted to scare you..that's all" I said

"Don't care..don't wanna sleep alone.." She said

"Do you wanna sleep in our bed with Daddy and me?" I said

"Okey dokey" She said,hoping off the bed and running into our room

"Whoa..hi honey..what are you doing here?" He asked her

"Woogie man ..gonna eat me..mommy said i could sleep here" She said snuggling up to him

"Alright but you have to go right to sleep ok?" He said..it was useless to say because she was already asleep

"The woogie man... where'd she get that?" Blake asked

"Lennon" I said

"You know..i wasn't expecting  a  rebellion for at least  another 12 years " He said

I woke up the next morning staring  into something with brown eyes..I jumped a mile before realizing  it was Olivia

"Hi mommy" She said sitting across my chest eating cheetos

"Hi Livvy.Where's Daddy" I asked watching her get orange crap  all over my quilt and it was all over her pj's

"He went to give the babies their bottles" She said

"He said you could eat cheetos for breakfeast?" I asked

"as long as i didn't make a mess" She said then planted an orange sticky kiss on my nose and hopped off the bed to watch cartoons

"That's just great" I  said getting up and pulling on my tank top and shorts

I walked into the nursery and saw Blake struggling to feed the girls both at the same time, he had one arm in the bassinett holding Eva's bottle in her mouth while Lily was in his lap in the rocking chair, at such an angle she was getting most of the bottle on the floor  

"Do you want some help" I said laughing

"Please.." He said whiny.

I took Lily from his lap and sat on the floor..i gave her what was left in the bottle and then put her in the swinging chair

"Do you want me to take Eva-" I said stopping when i realized both Blake and Eva were out cold, I couldn't help it..i ran and got my camera and started snapping pictures. I dragged the swinging chair and Lily into the living in case she started crying and woke up Eva

"Olivia..watch Lily while I go talk on the phone" I said but she was too interested in Spongebob to hear me,"Forget it"

                                       Few days later

The girls (not the little ones, the big ones) took me out for dinner, they must have sensed i needed a break

"How's it going?" Catie

"I haven't slept in a week" I said trying to stay awake

"You look..." Gina's voice trailed off

"Like death" Stevanne finished for her

"Really? Cause i feel like death" I said

"Sorry I'm late..what did i miss?" Annie said running into the restaurant

"Nikki looks and feels like death and we were  just about to order..now your up to speed" Catie said opening her menu

"Oh Ok" Annie said

"Nik..you wanna split a club sandwich?" Rachel asked

No Answer

"Nik?" Rachel looked up,"NIK"

"Wha?" I jumped a mile

"Were you asleep?" Gina asked laughing

"A little" I blushed

"Wow..you do need a vacation" Stevanne said

"Yes well until all four of them go off to college..it ain't gonna happen anytime soon" I said

"Ladies..do you know what next week is?" Catie said changing the subject

"The week of the 24th?" Stevanne said

"Not just that..it's every new yorker's favorite holiday" Catie said

"Fleet week is in September and this is July..i think.. i can't remember" I said

(fleet week is a time where the sailors come into port and there are all these great parties  and for those lucky single girls..a kiss from a sailor means a year's worth of good luck)

"IT'S FASHION WEEK!" Catie yelled

"Fashion week?" Gina said

                                               NIKKI P.O.V 

                                    SIX MONTHS LATER

I was still getting used to London, It was always so cold and my skin wasn't used to being covered up in a time when's it's usually exposed to the sun and let's forget about my tan, that was a thing of the past, I was officially the whitest white woman in the world.

I wish i could say the same for Lennon, she loved it being in London but  then again she loves playing with my car keys so it was kinda even.. ..  She was so big now, any day she'll be walking and talking

"Hello Darling" Mike said coming into the house

"Hi" I said getting up from the floor where i was playing with Lennon

"How are you?" He asked

"Ok.I still have a little cold though" I said

"Oh that's too bad, anyway I talk to the contractor" He said sitting on the couch

"Oh yeah,How long before the house is built?" I said putting the baby in her walker

"A few more days it should be done before we get back from our honeymoon" He said

"Oh Good"  I said getting back down on the floor eye-to-eye with Lennon

"How about we get away this weekend?" Mike suggested

"I'm not sure, What about Lennon, What do i do with her?" I asked

"My mother can take care of her" He said

"I don't want to leave her, maybe some other time" I said

He didn't know it but when he turned around and walked away, i saw him roll his eyes, I wished he'd at least attempt to warm up to Lennon...This was not going as well as i wanted it to go ..Maybe after we were married...

Ok so I'm the last person to admit it but without Lennon or Nikki..I was miserable no one to fight with.. i missed rocking the baby to sleep..the house was too quiet.. and I guess misery does love company .. I had been moping around for six months and finally John took me out to cheer me up

"Blake, buddy, get over it" He said as soon as he sat down

"I can't" I said reading the menu

"Look, I know how depressing it is, I miss her too" John said

"Are you going to the Wedding?" I asked changing the subject

"Yeah..You?" He replied  

"I wasn't planning on it" I said sipping water

"I think Nik would really want you there" John said

"I doubt it, you forget she punched me out and then didn't talk to me for two months" I said

"Yeah but she forgave you" He said

"After i sent 12 dozen roses and she went into an allergy shock, it was either forgive me or die." I said  

"Haha,..Do you love her?" He asked

I nearly choked on a roll."what?"

"As a lawn mower, as a potiental wife" He said rolling his eyes

"So now what do I do?"  I said eating my soup

"How? She's getting married Saturday, I don't wanna rain on her parade.." I said

"Blow up her floats and stop this wedding beside i heard from a source that this guy isn't exactly the warmest person in the world" He said wiping his face

It was the night before my wedding, a typical nerve racking night for a bride but i was so scared, that when my girls took me out drinking, i got a little too drunk

"Whoa Nik I think you've had enough" Michelle said taking the glass of tequila  out of my hand

"Ech it's her wedding..let her get totally drunk..Mike won't care" Annie said

"Remember.. last time she got drunk...she stood ontop of a table and flashed all of Avalon.."Stevanne said

"Yeah..she even made the six o'clock news i forget how long were you grounded for?" Catie said

"I'm still grounded (hiccup)" I said

"Let's hope for Lennon's sake..she never sees that tape" Gina said

"She won't..Nikki burned every copy" Jen said

"Yup had a big o'l bonfire and whoosh bye bye tape" I said,"Guys..I don't feel so good"

We took Nikki out to calm her nerves the night before the wedding but i forgot how light of a drunk she until she stood up, got sick and passed out..We dragged her back to the house and practically threw her on  the bed

"How long do you think she'll be out?" Michelle asked

"My guess..24 hours tops" Catie guessed

"Well then start boiling the coffee now because her ass has to be up at 8 to be at the church by 11" Gina said

                                       DAY OF THE WEDDING                                             

                                            John P.O.V

Ok so i wasn't exactly thrilled with myself over telling Blake he could have Nikki..but i could see how much pain he was in over her and besides..she could do a lot worse like that Mike guy.

Because Nikki's father had gotten the Flu the week before the wedding and wasn't able to travel, which devasted her because she wanted her father to walk her down the aisle, I was supposed to walk her down the aisle.. I didn't really want to but when she threw a fit and then used the baby as a secret weapon ..i caved.

I stood in the hallway of the Church, waiting for Nikki looking for the bathroom  and nervously adjusting my tie, I passed by where Mike was getting dressed and overheard him talking to his friend

"Are you sure you wanna marry a chick with a kid?" The other guy said

"Sure once we're married, I'll convince her to put the kid in boarding school and Once we're traveling all over the world..she'll forget all about it" Mike said

"Who's paying for the trip around the world?" the guy asked

"She is but she doesn't know it yet" Mike said chuckling

"You are so bad.." the guy said

"SON OF A BITCH!" I said a little too loudly

"Who the bloody hell is that?" Mike said

I ran like godzilla was chasing me into the bathroom

When I woke up, I had the biggest hangover.. pounding headache watery eyes you name it i had it.. i felt like someone ran me through the blender and hit frappe

"Yes..just nerves" I said knowing it was more than just nerves.

                                             The Day BEFORE the wedding

                                           BLAKE P.O.V

I was on my way to London going through Kennedy airport when i missed my flight so i had to take a later flight, i knew i was going to be late but weddings never start on time..right?

I Finally landed in England around 8 am o'clock new york time which in london was 3o'clock the day before the wedding..now my only problem was..how was i going to find this place?

I thought about renting a car but I'm a new york/boston driver and it would have been suicide for the other drivers, so i rented a mopehead..which i thought was like a bike with an engine..I got on that thing and I swear i think i saw god because the bike was loud and terrifying.

I spent a couple of hours, searching for the house, I knew Kensington was big but this place was friggan HUGE! I finally found the house and knocked on the door

"Hello?" a british woman in a uniform  asked

"Hi I'm looking for Nicole Capone" I said nervously

"How do you know Madame?" The woman said looking me up and down

"I'm a friend" I said

"I'm sorry but Madame is not here" The woman said starting to close the door

"Do you know when she'll be back?" I asked sliding my body between the door

"I'm sorry that's priviledged nformation  Now please leave before i call the police" She said slamming the door ..

"Bitch" I muttered and walked away

After that, i walked around and found a cheap hotel for the night.. i was so tired i didn't even bother getting undressed

                              NIKKI P.O.V.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Someone screamed from the next room

I'd just gotten my dress on and Dina was buttoning up the back when the screaming started

"What the hell is that?" I said kicking off my shoes and ran into the next room with Dina and the girls following me.

It was Annie, I could have killed her.

"What happened?" Gina asked

"She spilled red kool aid all over her dress!" Annie said pointing to Lennon, Annie was  near tears," I turned away from her for a second and she spilled the juice all over herself..Nik, I am so sorry"

"You screamed like you were being murdered over RED KOOL AID?" I said

"I had one thing to do and i screwed it up" Annie said sitting on the floor

"Will you chill? I got it" I said getting on my knees and pulling the dress off of Lennon

"But wasn't that an expensive dress?" Annie asked

"No..itwas like 25 dollars..i knew she'd spill eventually, she's only a baby.. Now where's the Kool Aid?" I said

"Here why?" Michelle asked

"Because i'm going to fix the dress" I said taking the kool aid and dress into the bathroom

"How?" Catie asked

"By doing this" I poured the Kool aid into the sink, and dipped the dress into the Kool aid, slowly turning the pretty white dress into a pretty red dress

"I knew this girl was a genius!" Natalie said

"Now will you let me finish getting dressed?" I said rolling my eyes

 Half and Hour later, I had finished getting dressed, i had my veil on, my shoes and a  little tiara. Everything was set

"You look so pretty!" Rachel cried

"Ok one last group hug and then let's get married!" I said

We hugged and then got into the limo.

A short ride later, we pulled up in front of a large beautiful catholic church

The girls and I climbed out of the limo, where John was waiting to escort me down the aisle

"Wait! Where's Lennon?" I said frantically

"I've got her..don't worry" Gina said

Because i didn't want to cause a fight between my girls over who was going to be a bridesmaid or maid of honor so i said screw it and no one was going to be either.

The girls took their seats.

Just before the music played, they closed the doors

"Well this is it" I said

"Are you sure you want to do this?" John asked

"Yes" I said

"Nik?" He said

"Yes?" I responded

" I gotta know.. I was the great love of your life right?" He said

"Absoutely" I smiled

 The music started and we walked down the aisle..We stopped just before the minister

"Who presents this woman to be married?" The minister asked

"I do" John said and then kissed me on the cheek and gave my hand to Mike

After reading a passage from the bible,the minister began asking us questions

"Do you Michael Patrick Kennedy take Nicole Victoria Capone to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish from this day forward for as long as you both shall live ?"

"I do" Mike said

"Do you Nicole Victoria take Michael Patrick to be your husband, to love and cherish from this day forward for as long you both shall live"

"No" The words left my mouth and i didn't even realize it

"STOP THIS WEDDING!" a voice shouted

Between Nikki saying no and Blake stopping the wedding or at least attempting too..this was too much..

I wasn't expecting Blake to stop the wedding But once i said no, it felt so right

"Mike I'm sorry but i can't marry you" I said

"If this is one of your american jokes..it's not funny" Mike said

a huge gasp went through the church

"Who?" Mike asked

"The guy in the rumpled jeans" I said pointing to Blake

I then took off my engangment ring and gave it back to Mike and ran down the aisle

"I hope not because this guy is such a scuzzball" John said,"He was after your money and he was going to put Lennon into Boarding School"

"You WHAT?" I couldn't believe it

"Darling..are you going to believe him or me?" Mike asked

"Him" I said and then punched him in the face

"To Answer your question, No you are not married" The minister said

"We're gonna have to work on your temper" Blake said

"Now what should we do?" I asked

"Wanna get married?" He suggested

"Are you serious?" I couldn't believe

"Yeah why not?you've got the white dress on, besides our families are here,our friends are here, might as well do it" He said

"Dada" a little voice popped up

We both looked down and realized it was Lennon

"Oh my god..her first words!" I said picking up the baby

"She agrees ..will you?" Blake asked

"Yes!" I said

And so we were married.

                                        TWO YEARS LATER

It had been a wonderful two years, Lennon was now speaking in full sentences and walking, John married Tiffany and they have two little boys, Keith and James but we still see them all the time, Tiffany loves Lennon like she was her own daughter.. I made sure of that one and John did too after this was our daughter's life also..  ..When Lennon was old enough to understand that she had two daddies, it wasn't a problem. she was actually proud of it  , Rachel's show was still going strong, Annie had a chain of stores all through New York, Jen and Max are engaged.and are planning their wedding for sometime in June.

Me? after our impromptu wedding, Blake and I quickly settled back into our life in New york..Almost a year later, we welcomed our 2nd daugher Olivia Mackenzie, Lennon wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of sharing her mommy but once she realized Olivia wasn't going anywhere, she quickly adjusted and only dropped Olivia on her head once. 

After Olivia was born, we realized we totally didn't have any room and had to buy a bigger house in Queens, We also figured with the bigger house and two little girls..we should try for a boy..It didn't qute work out that way. I got pregnant right away and Blake began to pray like the world was coming to an end for a boy..

Just like with Olivia, I had an easier time and Blake wouldn't let Annie drive me anywhere, if we wanted to go out, he drove or we took a cab..it was cute about how overprotective he was but sometimes it was so damn annyoying

"I'm going out!" I said about three weeks before I was due

"Where are we going today?" Blake asked

"No we..me and the girls are just going shopping" I said putting on my jacket

"I don't want you driving!" He said

"One accident three years ago and your still so paranoid..I'm ok ..No biggie" I said

"I don't think it's safe.. please just let me drive you" He begged

"Why don't you go somewhere with the girls..like Chuckie E.Cheese?" I suggested

 "NikKI!" He whined

"I'm going.. see you later and I will home tonight" I said leaving

I picked up Annie and the girls and we made our way downtown

"I can't believe he actually let you drive!" Stevanne said

"Yeah..how'd you swing that?" Catie wondered

"Simple, I just stated what i wanted and he agreed" I said

"Meaning you stood there like a stone, he begged and you walked away" Gina said

"Pretty Much" I laughed

We had a great day of shopping and eating

"I just need one more item" I said

"Now where?, We've hit every store in New York" Catie said

"I just need to get a blanket for the crib in Filene's" I said walking into the store

We'd only been in there for about five minutes when i realized my water broke.

We'd scattered all around the store, each looking at different, Gina was with me when my water broke

"Are you alright?" She asked,"Baby kicking?"

"No..baby's coming" I said

"What?" She looked so panicked

"My water broke!" I said as the first contraction hit

"Oh my god!" She said,"What do we do?"

"You've had two kids..you should know.." I said

"Listen Smartass, when i went into labor BOTH times, i was at home with Josh" Gina said

"Go get the girls and tell them  we have to go to the hospital" I said the contractions stopped

In all the years of knowing Gina, I've never seen her run as fast as she did..

"Nik..are you alright?" Catie asked

"No this baby is coming now" I said as another contraction hit

"Oh crap!" Catie turning white,"Don't Panic!"

"How can she not panic..she's about to give birth in FILENE'S" Annie said running up to us

"No I'm not ..we're just going to casually walk out  and then i'm going to give birth on the sidewalk like any respectable New Yorker!" I said

"Better yet..shout loud enough so they can hear in Jersey about how your water broke!" Stevanne said

"STEVANNE!" i yelled

"Bad time for a joke?" She said

"Yeah" I said,"Oh my god!" another contraction hit

Part 4

    Annie's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe it, I left Blake alone with the girls for less than two hours and he managed to lose one of them, in Central Park no less

"We need a description of the Child" The Detective said

"Uh..Uh" Blake stuttered

"She's got red hair,a heart shaped face and was wearing a green jean  jacket and overalls" I said

"Does she have any marks that stick out?" The Detective said

"I'm not quite sure" Blake said

"She has scar on the back of her neck ..remember?" I said

"No." Blake said

"She was four..Nikki was holding her..you come up behind her scaring her which caused Nikki to drop her against the counter and P.S. ten stitches later..she has a scar on her neck" I said

"Oh yeah" Blake laughed

"Ok,we need to locate the child's parents, where are they?" The Cop asked

"On a remote island in the Caribbean " I said

"Ok..next of kin?" He asked

"At a conference in D.C" Blake said

"Ok..do you at least have a recent picture of the child?" The Cop said annoyed

"No." Blake said

"Wait! Yes we do!" I said

"We do?" Blake said

"Yes..where's the diaper bag? Where's Lennon?" I suddenly became worried

"Oh god..not her too!" Blake said putting his head in his hands  

"Relax..she's with another Detective.."The cop said standing and a few minutes later, come back with the diaper bag, he handed it to me.

"What are you looking for?" Blake asked me

"Remember the morning Nikki left, she was looking for her wallet but she couldn't find it..?" I said digging through the bag

"No but go ahead" Blake said cluelessly

"She forgot that she left her wallet in the diaper bag because when she went to pick up Ali she put the wallet in the bag"I said

"Oh yea" Blake said finally getting it

I found the wallet and took out what i needed, the picture of Ali,Nikki and Lennon taken a few days after Lennon was born

"Her hair is longer but that's her" I said handing the picture to the cop

"Ok..we're gonna have posters and fliers made up and distributed around the city, We're also going to put her picture on the 7 o'clock news" the Cop said

"What should we do?" I asked

"Go home and wait by the phone," The cop said

"And pray to hell Nikki doesn't kill me "Blake said under his breathe"

"This Nikki woman sounds very violent" the cop commented

"You have NO idea" i said

                                              BLAKE'S P.O.V

We brought Lennon home and put her to  bed, and just waited for anything,,a phone call.. A sign..ANYTHING!

"I can't believe you lost Ali " Annie said for the millionth time

"I can't believe you're still saying that!" I replied

"Well what would you like me  to say?" Annie said,"It's ok to lose a little girl in Central Park? Because,Blake, it's not..and if anything happens to her,you're responsible!

"Don't you think I realize that? I know i screwed up and should have been paying more attention but you gotta stop making me feel more guilty than i already do feel. Please,Annie stop!" I said

"Ok Ok" Annie said going into the Kitchen.

I sat down on the couch and somehow i fell asleep

Around 2 am, the phone rang, I know it was two because i looked at my watch

"I GOT IT!" Annie said running to the phone"Yes, Yes, Oh thank god!" She said

"What? Where is she?" I asked hovering over Annie who waved me away

"We'll be right there!" Annie hung up the phone

"Well?" I asked

"They found her in Jersey!" Annie said

"What? Why Jersey?" I asked

"I have no idea but she's at the New Jersey police station in one piece and alive!" Annie said

"Wait!" I said

"What?" Annie asked

"What about Lennon?, We already corrupted one child today let's not do it with the other one,I'll go put her in the car" I said heading up the stairs

"Oh No Daddy Dearest, I'll go,Heaven know's wheither or not Lennon would actually make to the car"Annie said pushing past me

"Haha!" I said and headed outside to start the car

                                   Annie's P.O.V

When the police called to say they had found Ali..alive..i was so relieved and when i went to get Lennon, I sat down in the rocking chair and sobbed with relief. I stood up,wiped away my tears, picked up the baby and RAN down the stairs.

"What the hell took you so long?" Blake demanded

"Shut up and Drive" I commanded

We sped through New York and onto the highway,where i had flashbacks to the accident

"SLOW DOWN!" I yelled

"I'M ONLY DOING 80!" Blake yelled back

"did you happen to forget i was in a horrible wreck less than a year ago!" I said

"Sorry I'll slow down" Blake replied

We made it to the police station in one piece, He slowed down in front of the police station long enough  for me to jump out. I ran to the front desk

"HI!" i shouted through the glass scaring the woman behind the desk

"May I help you?" The woman said

"I just received a phone call saying they found a missing little girl" I said

"Oh yes you are..Annie Banks?" The woman asked

"Yes" I nodded

"She's right in here." The woman said buzzing me in

"Thank you" I said

I was led to the back of the precinect

"Is she alright?" I asked following the woman who'd buzzed me in

"Yes, She's sleeping" The woman responded

"Where did they find her?" I asked

"Hiding in a warehouse" The woman said

"Do they know who took her?" I asked

"No, She was alone" The Woman said opening a door

There she was, curled on a beat up leather couch. I gently shook her

"Ali,Honey?" I said

"Annie?" she said opening her eyes

"Hi Sweetie" I knelt down beside the couch,"Are you alright?"

"I'm Ok..but what happened to the man?" Ali asked

"What man?" The woman asked

"That kinda freaky looking guy..he kinda looks like Michael Jackson but less ugly" Ali said sitting up

"Well he's gone now.. don't even worry about it" I said hugging her

"Okey dokey" Ali said

"Let's go home" I said picking her up

We took the girls home and put them to bed..After this adventure..Blake and I agreed..No more trips to Central Park.

                                                  NIKKI'S P.O.V.

I had heard about the kidnapping the day after Ali was found... In Washington..on the news..I was furious that they hadn't called but i realized that Annie and Blake didn't want to worry me but it still made me come home three days early

"HELLO" I yelled coming through the door

"NIKKI" Blake said from the Kitchen

"Hey,Where is everyone?" I asked putting down my suitcase

" I was just making dinner,Ali's watching a movie, Lennon's asleep and Annie went to the store,what are you doing home early?" Blake asked wiping his hands on a dish towel

"I Missed my girls" I said hugging him then following Blake into the Kitchen

"So Tell me..how was Washington?" Blake asked stirring something in a pot

"Great I made a senator cry" I said biting into  a carrot

"Atta girl" Blake said turning around

"I also met a guy" I said casually

"Wait..what?" Blake looked at me

"I met a guy!" I said excitedly

"You met a guy?" He couldn't believe it 

"Yup.." I said

"Are you bringing him to the House?" Blake asked

"Soon..Dad" I smiled,"I have a amazing news"

"Spill" He said

"I'M GETTING MARRIED!" I Shouted

"WHOA.what?you met a guy and in less than three weeks,your engaged?!" Blake's eyes were bugging out of his head

"Isn't that great?" I asked

"I guess" He went back to stirring

"There is a downside though" I said sitting on the counter

"What's that?" He asked

"He lives in London" I said

"Please tell me you mean Connecuit" Blake said

"No I mean London England" I said sliding off the counter

"So your moving to England and taking Lennon with you?" He asked

"Well yes" I said

"I don't believe you" Blake said getting angry

"Why are you getting angry?" I asked

"Because you're taking a three month old halfway around the world!" He said

"That's not the reason" I said

"Yes it is!" He insisted

"If that's the real reason and i highly doubt it is..you should be thrilled" I said

"Why?" He asked

"Because you can get on with your life..meet a woman.get married.." I said

"I still cannot BELIEVE your packing up and moving!" He said

"What's so hard to believe? you didn't actually think we were all going to live together like the Brady Bunch forever did you?" I asked

"No but what about John?" He said

"What about him?" I said

"You're taking Lennon away from her father" He said

"He's more than welcome to come vist us" I replied

"You've got an answer for everything, Don't you?" He said

"Which brings me back to my original question.. why are you so mad?" I said .

"Because your doing to me what you did to john and every other guy who's come within 100 yards of you and Lennon" Blake said

"What exactly does that mean?" I was so confused

"It means your using Lennon as an excuse to push me away" Blake said

"How am I pushing you away from Lennon by getting married" I was even more confused

"Because you're using her as an excuse" He said

"You make NO sense" I said

"Well what you're doing makes no sense!" He said storming out of the kitchen

"I'm taking control of my life!" I said

"No you're screwing up an inncent  child's life with your selfishness!" He said turning around halfway up the stairs

"You're not her father so it really doesn't effect you!" I said starting to shout

"What's going on?" Ali said coming up from the living room

"Nothing,Honey go back downstairs!" I said

"Why?" She asked

"Ali Marie..GO!" I said

"Man, just cause I'm 10, everyone thinks they can tell me what to do!" She muttered to herself stomping down the stairs

"That's such crap about me not being her father! I'm more of a parent than you are!" He said

"I don' think so" I said

"Yes because I've spent more time with her  than you have!" He said

"Pardon Me..Some of us have to work for a living,A least i didn't lose a 10 year old in Central Park!" I yelled

"How did you know about that?" He wanted to know

"Blake, I was in Washington, Not Pluto..they do have televisions there, you goddamn child!!" I said

"You know what? You're a horrible mother!" Blake said

"What?" I couldn't believe it

"You heard me" He said

"You son of a bitch!" I said running past him  up the stairs, I went into my room,slammed the door and cried

I felt like I was Sixteen again instead of thirty and instead of fighting with my father..I was fighting with my best friend

                   BLAKE's P.O.V

I didn't realize what I'd said to Nikki until she ran up the stairs crying . I Pounded on the door and hoped she would open up so i could apologize, besides how angry could she be?

Turns out VERY ANGRY!

"Nik? Open Up" I pounded on the door

"GO TO HELL!" She yelled

"I wanna apologize" I said

"Save your opinions for someone who gives a damn!" She yelled

"Will you come out please?" I begged

She whipped open the door so fast i nearly toppled over

"I don't want to talk to YOU!" She said through gritted teeth

"HEY!" Jen said coming up the stairs,"What's up?"

"He's a son of a bitch" Nikki said turning toward Jen

"And she's getting married and dragging Lennon halfway around the world!" I replied

"Wait,You're getting married?" Jen asked

"Yeah" Nikki said

"I'm so happy" Jen said

"At least SOMEONE is!" Nikki said

"Whoa! Someone wanna clue me in?" Jenn asked

"I tell him i'm getting married and then he calls me a horrible mother!" Nikki said dramatically

"Wait! you said what?" Jen said her eyes bugging out of her head

"I don't want her to screw up Lennon's life like she screwed up her own life!" I said

"THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD IT!" Nikki said

and then she punched dead in my face!

"OW!" I screeched

"NIKKI!" Jen said surprised

"Frig that hurt!" Nikki said staring at her knuckles

"I get the reason to hit me but did you have to do it RING side up?!" I yelled holding my nose

"This is great, I come home happy and find my two best friends fighting now he's got a possible broken nose and she busts open her knuckles, this is like a godamn mental ward!" Jen said going back downstairs to get ice

"AND DON'T YOU EVER CRITIZE MY LIFE AGAIN!"Nikki said slamming the bedroom door

                             Nikki

I didn't mean to hit him but he was acting like sucha pompous ass, I had to do something, I admit, after i hit him, i went into my room and laughed, I laughed at the expression on his face, i laughed because i've never punched anyone before.

"Nikki" I heard Jen's voice through the door

"Yeah?" I asked

"I brought you ice for your hand" Jen said

"Ok,Come In" I said

                     Jen's P.O.V

I couldn't believe when Nikki actually punched out Blake, I don't think he expected it either,after she went storming back into her room, he kinda crawled down the stairs

"Are you alright?" I asked

"My nose hurts" He whined

"Well, I don't think it's broken but here's a bag of frozen peas, put it on your face" I said tossing him the bag  from behind the counter

"I can't believe she hit me!" He said

"You had it coming" I said shaking my head

"I know, How bad is it?" He asked

"Well, i can see a ring print forming and you're already getting a black eye,I think you'll live" I said then headed up the stairs

"NIKKI" i called through the door

"YEAH!" She called back

"I brought you ice for your hand" I said

"Come In" She said

I opened the door and found her sitting on the edge of the bed, I just looked at her and started to laugh

"Nice one Rocky" I said

"Yeah, Well Just call me Jane of the Jungle" She said laughing,"Did you see the expression on his face?"

"He was pretty stunned" I said handing her the ice pack

"I just couldn't believe, after everything we've been through together, he would say that" She said

"Forget Blake, Tell me about the guy!" I asked

"He's really cute" She said picking up her purse

"Orlando Bloom cute or Johnny Depp Cute?" I asked

"We're taking James Dean Cute" She said

"That's pretty cute" I said

"I met him my first day in Washington,He was so cute with his british accent and funny, he was making all these jokes and he even pulled out my chair at dinner, how often does that happen? and get this, when i brought up the baby, He actually seemed interested and didn't run screaming into the night, I fell for him immediately and.." She startedto cry

"Sweetheart,Are you ready for such a change?" I asked gently,"When are you leaving?"

"Two weeks as soon as I can get Ali on a flight back to Boston. Jen,  I need stability,and Mike gives me that and besides,you guys have your own lives, I want to do this and i don't know why Blake is making this so difficult!" She said crying

I didn't say a word, I didn't know what to say, i just held her and let her cry

                                Nikki's P.O.V

The next few days were uncomfortably silent because I refused to talk to Blake and He would try to talk to me, Jen played mediator, a role i know she hated.

We left New York on a cold rainy Friday

"Ok so you're gonna Call every night right?" Annie asked

"Yes and you guys are coming for the wedding right?" I said

"Of course" Jen said

"I can't believe you're leaving!" Rachel said crying

"You've said that every night for the last two weeks" I said crying

"Ok I wanna kiss Lennon goodbye" Rachel said kissing Lennon on her head and then passing her back to me

Before we got into the Cab, i took one last look at the house.

             

Part 3

                                          NIKKI'S P.O.V

                                3 Months, two days and 18 hours later

Lennon was finally sleeping through the night,John had moved into a house down the street from us and came over all the time to take Lennon to the park and sometimes just to put her to bed , Rach had go LA because her show was shooting scenes around Sacremento, So She had to live out there for a few weeks, Jen had a met a guy named Max and was spending practically every second with him, Annie opened her shop and things were going great for her, Blake decided to write a book about child development and so he was able to stay at home with the baby, which was good  because when the accident had  happened, i had to quit my job at the Enquirer, But my old editor at the Enquirer had a connection with the New York times and hooked me up with a job as senior writer, which in the broadcast world meant a kick-ass position, tons of cash and a whole new wardrobe to boot.

I got the call on a tuesday night

"Oh MY GOD!" I said running into the kitchen

"What?" Blake said looking up from giving the baby her bottle

"I have amazing news!" I danced around the kitchen

"You're pregnant again?" Annie said digging through the fruit

"No i got a job!" I said

"Awesome!" Annie said

"It gets even better, I got an assignment to cover a press conference in D.C" I picked up Lennon and swung her around

"Careful,she just finished eating!" Blake said

"You're leaving? For how long?" Annie said peeling an orange

"Two weeks" I said giving the baby back to Blake and popping a piece of orange in my mouth at the same time

"Did you forget about someone?" Blake said

"You mean Lennon?" I asked

"No Mick Jagger, Yes Lennon" He rolled his eyes

 "It's gonna be hard but i think she'll manage" I said

"You're taking her to D.C. with you?" Blake couldn't believe it

"No,I'm leaving her here" I said

"What?" Blake said

"I can't bring her to a crowded convention hall, it wouldn't be good for her, i think it would be better if she stayed here with her Uncle and Aunt" I said sitting on the counter

"I don't know, why doesn't John take her?.." Blakewas hesitant

"He's in Vegas with his new girlfriend,Tiffany" I said rolling my eyes 

"I love how you say that, like that's her alleged name,Come on,Blake,we can do it" Annie said sitting down at the kitchen table

"Oh all right" He said,"When do you leave?"

"Friday, Hey, Did anyone check the machine?" I asked hopping off the counter

"Nope" Annie and Blake said together

I pressed the button

"Hey Nik," Stacey voice came up,"I just wanted to remind you Ali's coming out this Thursday and in case you forgot, she'll be with you  for three weeks,Thanks Cuz, talk to you later "

"Oh crap!" I said slapping my forehead

"What?" Blake said

"I completely forgot Ali was coming,now what do i do? it's too late to cancel her flight" I sat on the floor

"Don't worry, We'll take care of her" Blake said

"A minute ago, you were panicking over taking care of a 3 month old, you want the responsibility of  a 3 month old AND  a ten year old?'  I said

"No problem, Ali  can help me in the Salon  and Blake can take care of Lennon here at the house" Annie said.

Thursday came before anyone realized and Lennon and I were on our way to pick up Ali at JFK.

She had grown so much since the last time i saw her, i barely recongized her, her red hair was in braids and she was acting like a mini version of her mother, when I reached Boston Arrivals

"AUNTIE!"Ali shouted running toward me

"ALI!" I yelled running with Lennon on my hip and my purse banging against my other  hip

We crashed and all three of us hit the floor

"Oomp!Are you alright?" I asked Ali

"I'm cool"  She said brushing herself off

I made sure Lennon was ok,we got Ali's luggage and left the airport.

"So what are we gonna do this week,Auntie?" Ali asked

"Well Honey, that's what i need to talk to you about" I hailed a cab

"I have to go out of town for a few days, and because where i have to go is going to be so boring, My Friends Blake and Annie are going to watch you and Lennon  for those days but when I come back, we're gonna hit all the hot spots and i'll buy you anything you want at F A O Schwartz" I said

"Anything?" Ali asked

"As long as it doesn't max out my VISA, Yes" The cab dropped us off at the house

We ate pizza for dinner,watched a movie and i put the girls to bed early.

Friday morning was hectic, trying to pack with  two kids underfoot is nearly impossible but i made it, althought i went back and forth kissing the girls a dozen times, and trying to shout out instructions to Blake and Annie , who finally told me to shut up and move if i didn't wanna miss my flight.  

                                             BLAKE P.O.V

When Nikki left for D.C, I was more than nervous, i was freaking terrified..what do i know about taking care of two little girls? Obviously doing the same things you do with an infant would seem silly to a 10 year old

"Ok," I said rubbing my hands together,"What do you wanna do?"

"Can we go to the Park?" Ali asked plopping herself on the couch

"Which Park?" I asked"There are a thousand parks in New York"

"She's talking about Central Park" Annie said

"Oh sure..Ann..you comin?" I asked

"Later, I have a doctor's appointment" Annie said leaving

I got Lennon bundled up and put her in the stroller and Ali put on her jacket

"Do you want to get into the stroller?" I asked Ali

 Ali gave me the same  look Nikki gives me when i ask her a stupid question

"I can't fit into the stroller" Ali said

"Right Sorry" I replied

We walked down the street and to the park

"Can I play on the Equipment?" Ali asked

"Sure I'm gonna go sit on the bench..stay where i can see you" I said as Ali took off

I never noticed before but a baby is a chick magnet..the moment i sat down with the carriage in front of me, a bunch of women came over and starting talking to me..

"Is she you're first?" A blond woman  asked

"Uh Yeah" I said

"She's so cute, she looks just like you" a Brunette woman asked

"Oo thanks" I said blushing   

"How old is she?" a red head asked

"Almost 4 months" I replied

"Oo look, the ice cream man is here" a woman with white hair said

"Oh Cool..ALI!" I called,"ALI!

no answer

"ALI" I stood up and looked around

I didn't see her anywhere,"ALI!" I screamed

still no answer

"Oh no!" I became panic-stricken

"Did you lose your little girl?" A man asked

"My niece, I Can't find her!" I was practically shouting,"ALI!"

By now a crowd of people were gathering around me\

"What's her name?" a guy on a bike asked

"Ali Marie" I said

"How old is she?" a woman asked

"she just turned 10" I replied

pretty soon the questions were flying

"What was she wearing?"

"Does she have any marks?"

"Where are her parents?"

"OK STOP!" A voice yelled

everyone instantly become quiet

"What's going on?" a balding guy asked

"My niece is missing!" I said sitting back down the bench,"Who are you?"

"I'm a cop..name's Wolf..Detective Lou Wolf" The guy said

"Detective..thank god!" I said..i swear if i wasn't a guy and straight..i would have kissed him

"I need to know exactly what happened?" He asked

"I sat down on the bench and just watching my god-daughter..when the Ice cream man came and i went to go ask her if she wanted some ice cream that's when  i realized she was missing"

"Ok ..we need go down to the precinct Ok?" the cop asked

Just then Annie come up to us

"What's going on?" Annie asked

"Ali's missing" I said

"You lost Ali?" Annie couldn't believe it

"I didn't lose her.." I said

"Nikki's gonna kill you.."Annie said

"Worry about that later.. let's find Ali and then worry about the repercussions  ok?" I said

"M'am do you know the child as well?" The Detective asked

"Yes" Annie nodded

"You'll need to come with us as well" The detective said leading us to his car and drove us to the precinct
