Dear Child

Dear Baby, I know you aren't born yet, right now your mother is 7 and half months pregnant with you, i', writing this because when you get older and realize we come from a dysfunctional family. you of course are problably going to be the last generation of our family, although someday i plan to give you some cousins but who knows, i want you to know that you are loved by everyone regardless of what anyone says and that i want you to be happy, always be happy and no matter how bad your mom pisses you off about everything, she loves you and waited a long time for you to come. and whatever you do, if you wind up with the infamous devito ass don't blame her, we all have that, it's a family trait. when you are older, i promise to take you to your first Rock Concert, and if you want to meet a singer i'll arrange, i promise when you come to vist me in Hollywood, you'll have freedom but you're gonna take a security guard with you, i want to be a great friend to you and i want you to feel like can talk to me about anything and i won't repeat it back to your mother. and if you're parents have a fight, and you run away, you come vist me and i'll make sure you're all right

always remember to follow you're dreams and never let anyone tell you otherwise and remember that we are and always will be family, no matter how much you try to deny it believe me, i've tried and it makes no difference.

You're uncle louis will torture you, i know this because he's tortured every girl and woman in this family, we've all cried /or screamed because of him but trust me, by the time you're old enough to defend yourself, it'll be time for him to the rest home haha no, not really.

So i'm going to end this, i'm going to save this and give it you on you're  16th birthday along with photos of you as a baby and photos of our family.

Ali Marie Blakeslee was born on Nov 5th 2004 and has bright red hair and is just a doll.

Ali, i see your little face and i see wondeful things to come and so many experiences to share, realizing your dreams will an experience for me because as your only aunt, i can see things for the first time through your eyes, just remember you are loved, you are wise and you will definitely be cool because all the devito,luongo cardello and manning women are born cool and although we dont flaunt it, we prouldly tell everyone and because you are tough and survived those first 10 days, you will be a fighter later in life.

I know this sounds awful but i was so jealous of you at christmas and i'm so sorry i was an even bigger baby than you actually are. i will never let that happen, i know that someday when  i have my children you may get jealous of them but dont be ..because i will love you like you are my own..not in a creepy sort of way but you know..

your mother problably wont tell you this but when i was little and because she was older than me, i would often get mistaken for her daughter, i loved that and she absoutely hated it More  later
